| Bet progressively and consistently. You want to be able to read your opponents without giving them a chance to limp in and land their card on the turn or river. On a good hand bet 2 to 3 times the big blind on the flop, and 3 to 5 on the turn to gauge a reaction and to stop them from limping in. | Watch for players on ‘Tilt’. Have you ever noticed after a player loses 80+% of their stack they start making illogical bets? They’re on Tilt and chances are they’re making bets that will lose them the rest of their stack! | |
| One hand will NOT make your day. Take your time and play smart. When you land a good hand don’t let emotion cloud the right thing to do; sometimes even good hands should be folded. | |
| Study your opponents patterns. Use your consistent betting to gauge reactions and test the wits of others at the table. Don’t be a donk, flush them out! | |
| “All in” means two things: “I want a caller” or “I have nothing”. Don’t get caught abusing the “All in”, it might cost you a lot! |
…and always show proper etiquette when you win or lose. Play with Pride!
