Everest Poker qualifier Nico Behling
finishes 2nd at the EPT Warsaw!

Nico Behling began his poker career playing on Everest Poker in April 2005. He started out by playing in freerolls, while also depositing only small amounts into his Everest Poker account.

Today, Nico is one of Germany’s up-and-coming professional players who are fast making their names well known on the European poker circuit.

Through an Everest Poker online poker games qualifier, Nico won a seat at the EPT Warsaw. On November 19, 2008, he finished second in the tournament, taking home over €205,000!

How did a 23-year-old go from playing in freerolls to finishing in the money in one of Europe’s biggest poker tournaments? Perhaps it is Nico’s practical approach, always considering himself a student of the game and learning from both victory and defeat.

“You have to work on your game, study the theoretical part of poker in the beginning, and always believe in yourself…and don’t let short-term luck or bad beats disturb you!”
